Apple's aggressive approach to preventing cross-site tracking on websites means that a proportion of your users will be blocked from accessing your courses when they are shared via SCORM from your LMS. To prevent this from occurring, you will need to ask your users to disable cross-site tracking prevention before they access your course.

Even if you're not using Safari on your iOS device, you will still need to follow the steps below for iPhone and iPad.

How to disable cross-site tracking prevention for iPhone

  • Go to Settings > Apps > Safari

  • Then below Privacy & Security

  • Disable the option Prevent Cross-Site Tracking

How to disable cross-site tracking prevention for iPad

  • Go to Settings > Safari

  • Then below Privacy & Security

  • Disable the option Prevent Cross-Site Tracking

How to disable cross-site tracking prevention for Mac OS

In the Safari app on your Mac:

  • Choose Safari > Settings

  • Then click Privacy

  • Uncheck the Prevent cross-site tracking option
