We’ve put together a quick cheat sheet showing our screen types below, and what kinds of content they best suit.

Screen type

Use this screen for:

Text and image

Presenting a paragraph or chunk of text alongside a central image.

Video

Presenting a video inline hosted on YouTube, Vimeo or elsewhere.

Slideshow

Showcasing a gallery of images around a particular theme or idea.

Document

Presenting a document inline for your audience or making a document available for your audience to download.

Embed

Embedding rich content into your online training, such as surveys, podcasts, forms, calendar bookings, maps, and more.

Accordion

Organizing and presenting a large amount of information in a small amount of space. Perfect for Acronyms.

Process

Detailing a process, procedure or timeline of events.

Flashcards

Displaying a series of cards that can be flipped to display additional information. Great for encouraging learners to check their understanding of concepts.

Checklist

Listing key points, activities, or things that need to be done.

Hotspot

Creating a labeled image that learners can interact with. Also great for presenting infographics with additional information.
