At Coassemble, we use AI to make course creation faster, easier, and more accessible—without compromising your data security. Below, we’ve answered frequently asked questions about how we use AI and protect your information.
Is your AI model developed in-house or via third parties?
We rely on trusted third-party providers for our AI models. Currently, we use Google’s Gemini 2.0 Flash for document transformation, course generation, text refinement, and language translation.
You can review Gemini’s terms of service and data policies here.
Does your AI model use customer data for training?
No, your data and course content are not used to train our AI models.
When you use features like “Transform a document”, your document is securely stored in object storage, and we keep the course context in our database so the AI can generate relevant content for you.
Who owns the content created by the AI authoring tool?
You retain full ownership of all content created in Coassemble, whether it’s generated using AI or created from scratch.
How does Coassemble protect my data?
We apply the same security standards to our AI features as we do across the entire Coassemble platform. Your data remains encrypted, access-controlled, and compliant with industry best practices. You can review our security controls in our Trust Center.
