It’s easy to make your course look on-brand with our course themes.
We have 9 presets ready-to-go, and these can be adjusted to create a custom version of that preset. You are currently not able to save these for re-use.
You can change fonts for Titles and Headings only and also add a logo!
How do I change my course theme?
It’s easy to change your course theme, even if you have already built a lengthy course. Follow these steps:
1 — Open the Design modal
Inside your course, click the 'Design' button that appears at the top of your screen.
2 — Configure your theme
The Course Themes section in the design modal is has 3 key sections:
Course preset
Fonts
Colours
Logo
Course preset
Themes are based on the course preset you choose. There are 9 distinct presets you can choose. Simply click the preset you want to use by clicking the current preset to reveal a dropdown menu. Choose the preset that best suits your course.
All presets come with a distinct font, and colors, however, you can override these in the following sections.
Fonts
You can change the font for the titles and headings in your course by clicking the Fonts heading. Select the dropdown menu containing your current font choice, to browse the available options.
Colors
You'll notice that for all themes, the color settings for the Start and Finish screens are always different to the standard screens that make up the bulk of your course. This is reflected in the here in the colors setting. You can adjust individual colors for buttons, titles and headings, and the background. For Start and Finish screens, you also have the ability to adjust the color of the background pattern that can be displayed on these screens.
Note: If you’ve manually adjusted the background color, or title color on an individual screen, changing your theme will not override these changes.
3 — Add a logo
If you have chosen to upgrade to Coassemble's Business plan, you can add a logo that viewers will see when taking your course. The logo appears on the bottom-left-hand-corner of the course.
By default, logos are switched off for all themes, and to display one, you must upload a logo first. Once your logo has been uploaded, the 'Display logo' toggle will be switched ON, and you'll be able to see a preview of how your logo will look.
Some logos will look better on a white bounding box, so make sure you test this feature out to see how your logo appears.
Note that you will need to preview the course to see how your logo looks on all of the course screens.
4 — Save your changes
Once you have made your changes, select ‘Save changes’. The changes will then be reflected in your course.
