How do I access the insights for my course?
1 — Open the insights modal
Select ‘Insights’ under the course card on your dashboard.
2 — View the 'Link insights' tab
By default, when opening the insights modal, you'll land directly on the Link insights tab
What insights are available?
There are 3 key sections available for analysing the effectiveness of your course, all of which display information for a specific time frame. By default, insights are only displayed for the last 7 days, but can be easily changed to reflect any date range you choose. Simply click the date picker to open the date range pop-up. Here, you can select from various presets or opt for a custom date range.
Viewed and completed data
Here you can see the number of viewers who started your course, and the number of viewers who completed your course.
Progression funnel - View drop-off points
You can identify the drop-off points for your course. For example, you may find that many learners are dropping off at a particular point in your course. You can then use this information to tweak your course design; you may shorten the course materials, or try to present the content in a more interactive way.
Individual usage
Here you can get detailed information about all of the viewers who have access your course. You can identify individual viewers by their email address. If you have not chosen to identify your viewers, they will appear as anonymous users with a random name, e.g. ‘Brown Tiger’.
Here you can see granular information on how long each viewer has spent on each screen in your course. You can also see where each individual dropped off if they did not complete the course.
Can I download this data?
You can download a .csv of this data to store offline if needed. Click the download button on the insights pane to download data for the selected date range in .csv format.
