Notion

Yes. You can embed Coassemble courses directly into Notion pages so learners take training without leaving Notion. You can also go the other way and use the Coassemble API to turn your Notion knowledge into courses automatically.

Coassemble connects to Notion in two directions. You can put courses into Notion so people learn in context, and you can pull knowledge out of Notion to generate courses from it.

Embed courses in Notion

Embedding Coassemble in Notion brings interactive learning right into your team's workspace. Instead of sending people to a separate platform, you place training alongside the documentation they already read.

  • Contextual learning. Put a course where it's relevant, like an onboarding course inside an employee handbook, so people learn at the point they need it.
  • No context switching. Learners complete modules without ever leaving their Notion workspace.
  • One place for knowledge. Keep your static documentation in Notion and your interactive training in Coassemble, sitting together in the same page.

Coassemble courses are embeddable, so you add a course to a Notion page the same way you'd embed other content, and it runs inline on the page.

Turn Notion knowledge into courses with the API

A lot of useful knowledge already lives in Notion as SOPs, wikis and handbooks. Rather than rewriting it as training by hand, you can feed that content into Coassemble's generate API to build courses from it.

The pattern looks like this:

  1. Pull the content out of Notion using Notion's own API or export, so you have the text of the page or database you want to turn into training.
  2. Generate a course with Coassemble's generate API, using a prompt that describes the course you want for that topic and audience.
  3. Build it out from your Notion content by generating screens and quizzes into that course, passing your extracted Notion text as the source content for Coassemble to summarise into screens and draw quiz questions from.

This lets you keep Notion as your source of truth and spin up training from it on demand, even automatically, instead of maintaining the same knowledge twice. API course generation is available on Embed Core and above.

Frequently asked questions

Do learners leave Notion to take the course?

No. The course is embedded in the Notion page, so people take it inline without being sent elsewhere.

Can I create courses from content already in Notion?

Yes. Pull the page or database content out using Notion's API or export, then use Coassemble's generate API to turn it into a course.

Do people need a Coassemble account to take an embedded course?

No. The embedded course runs inline on the Notion page, so learners don't need a separate Coassemble login.
