SCORM files not loading

Fixes for a Coassemble SCORM export that won't load in another learning system, usually an allowlist domain problem.

If you exported a course as a dynamic SCORM package and it won't load in your LMS, the usual cause is that the allowlist has the wrong domain on it. Most LMS platforms load SCORM content from a shared domain of their own rather than from your account's subdomain, and that shared domain is the one your allowlist needs.

SCORM files not loading in Go1?

GO1 was added to your allowlist, but the SCORM file still isn't loading?

If you're having trouble with SCORM files not loading properly in Go1, then it's likely you've added the wrong domain to your Allowlist.

Go1 doesn't actually use your unique domain to load SCORM files (e.g. myname.mygo1.com), they're using a generic URL for all of their customers (https://scorm.go1static.com).

To ensure SCORM will load correctly, make sure you add the following URL to your allowlist: https://scorm.go1static.com

SCORM files not loading in TalentLMS?

If you're having trouble with SCORM files not loading properly in TalentLMS, then it's likely you've added the wrong domain to your Allowlist.

TalentLMS don't actually use your unique domain to load SCORM files (e.g. myname.talentlms.com), they're using a generic URL for all of their customers (https://cdn.talentlms.com).

To ensure SCORM will load correctly, make sure you add the following URL to your allowlist: https://cdn.talentlms.com

Another LMS?

The same principle applies. Find the domain your LMS actually serves SCORM content from, which is often a shared CDN domain rather than your own subdomain, and add that full URL (including https://) to your allowlist.

Frequently asked questions

My package is uploaded to Coassemble, not exported. Why won't it open?

That's a different situation. A package you upload to run inside Coassemble shows an explicit processing state while it extracts, and it isn't playable until that finishes. Allowlist settings don't apply to it. If it stays in processing, contact us.

Where do I set the allowlist?

In the Share dialog for the course, under the SCORM export options, and globally under the SCORM Allowlist section of your workspace settings. Enter the full URL including https://.

Will changing the allowlist affect packages I've already downloaded?

Yes. The setting is checked when the package runs, so it applies to every package already downloaded for that course.
