Configuring your email preferences
How to choose which course activity and product emails you get from Coassemble.
How do I configure my email preferences?
Open Settings and select Email preferences. Choose whether you get an email the first time or every time a learner starts or completes one of your courses, or switch those emails off, and choose which product emails you want. Select Save changes to apply them.
Your workspace can also set a limit for everyone. If the workspace owner or an admin has limited course activity emails in Workspace notifications, you can choose fewer emails than that limit but not more.
How do I change course started and course completed emails?
- Open Settings and select Email preferences.
- Under Course started notifications, choose one of these:
- Send an email the first time a learner starts a course to get one email per course, for the first learner only.
- Send an email every time a learner starts a course to get an email for every learner.
- Switch the toggle off to stop these emails.
- Under Course completed notifications, make the same choice for completions.
- Select Save changes.
How do I change product emails?
Below the course notifications, switch Product updates, Promotions and Product Research on or off, then select Save changes.
Frequently asked questions
I've chosen every time, so why am I only getting the first email, or none?
Your workspace has a lower limit. The setting in Settings > Workspace notifications applies to everyone in the workspace and overrides your own choice when it's lower. Ask your workspace owner or an admin if you need it changed.
Do these settings change what my learners receive?
No. Email preferences only cover the emails sent to you. The emails learners get to access a course aren't affected.
Can I change my preferences later?
Yes. Go back to Email preferences any time and save new choices.
