Custom fonts

How to upload your own font files into a theme, and how to set a font on a single heading or paragraph.

Custom fonts sit inside themes. When you create or edit a theme in the Brand kit, you can upload your own typefaces and apply them to your headings and body text, so your courses match your brand's typography. In the course builder you can also set a font on an individual heading or paragraph, outside the theme's set.

Add a custom font

  1. In the Brand kit, create or edit a theme.
  2. Go to the Fonts section.
  3. Open the font dropdown for Headings and labels or Body.
  4. Select Add fonts under the CUSTOM category.
  5. In the Upload custom fonts window, drag and drop your font file or browse to upload it.
  6. Save your changes.

Supported font formats are WOFF, WOFF2, TTF, and OTF.

Set a font on a single heading or paragraph

In the course builder, select a heading or paragraph block and use its toolbar to pick a font. You can choose a font outside your theme's set, weights are grouped into their own menu, and there's a one-click reset back to the theme font.

Use this for the occasional deliberate exception. Keeping the rest of the course on the theme fonts is what keeps it consistent and readable.
