Yes, by arrangement. Coassemble can be set up so its AI features run through your own AI provider key instead of ours, which puts AI usage, billing and governance on your own account. This is configured with our team rather than switched on from Settings, so talk to your account manager or contact our team to start it.
What running on your own key changes
- Whose account the AI runs on. Text generation, narration and image generation call your AI provider account using your key.
- How usage is billed. AI usage appears on your provider bill under your own agreement, rather than drawing down the narration token and image generation event allowances included with your plan.
- Which controls apply. AI activity sits inside your own provider agreement, retention settings and governance.
Everything else in Coassemble works the same way. Courses, sharing, reporting and the builder are unchanged.

How do I set it up?
Contact our team. Setup involves confirming which provider and model you're using, exchanging the key securely, and configuring your workspace. It isn't self-serve.
Does this change which AI features I can use?
No. The same AI features are available. What changes is which account processes the request.
What happens to my included AI allowances?
Generation that runs on your key doesn't draw down the narration tokens and image generation events included with your plan. Your Usage limits page still shows recipient usage as normal.
Can I switch back?
Yes. Talk to our team and your workspace can be moved back to running on Coassemble's AI account.
